If a thread breaks down to petty attacks, it will be moved. It is the Mod's discretion whether to move a thread and/or give a warning to someone. Warnings will be sent by PM and/or e-mail. Any complaints from posters should be handled the same way. Please don't post them on the MB. Send them to a Mod or to an Admin via PM. Failure to comply with this can result in being banned.

So if a thread gets somewhat off topic, we're not too concerned. But if a topic gets WAY off topic, ie politics, it will be moved it to the appropriate forum. Again, it is at the discretion of the Mods.

So we tend to overlook it a little bit of profanity. Hell, sometimes I'll drop a word or two in my posts. But posted filled with a profanity laced tirade will be moved. We won't move the whole thread because of a single post. we'll just move that post and send the poster a warning PM. Ultimately; the key word is "Self-control". If a poster’s point cannot be made without the word, "asshole" for example, then we let them use it. Posters just need to be prudent with profanity.

We’re more lax in that forum than we are in the others. But the personal attacks and name calling rules still apply. And we ask that posters refrain from nudity in there. They can do a Google search for “Hot Babes” if they want that sort of stuff.

We don't want to get involved in a lawsuit. So please provide a link back to the source if your quote came from the internet. If it came from a TV channel like ESPN, then just say you saw it on ESPN.

We believe in freedom of speech. And while we don’t agree with everything that gets posted on the MB, we're glad that Dolphin fans have a forum where they can share their views without being ridiculed for them. I know that our core group of posters are smart enough and mature enough to not cross the line. Feel free to ask a Mod or Admin any questions, comments or suggestions.
